STORYTELLING SUNDAY: Featuring The Day the Typhoon Came and Water Lilies for Marawi

War and disaster do not choose their victims. The suffering it brings extends beyond ground zero. Eventually, children get caught in a mess not of their choosing, but in coping with these sufferings, they can prove that differences in faith, culture, and even social status can be bridged by true friendship and understanding.

Join us this Sunday, for two new stories about the brave land of Marawi and its people – Heidi Emily Eusebio-Abad's "Water Lilies for Marawi" (with illustrations by Shellette Gipa) and Carla M. Pacis' "The Day The Typhoon Came" (with illustrations by Viel Elijah Vidal).
