This holiday season, Spirit of Asia offers businesses executives, public relations units, and procurement officers a way to let their corporate gifts stand out with Gifts of Values. The Gifts of Values are sets of books featuring the stories of selected Ramon Magsaysay Awardees. They highlight greatness of spirit and values such as generosity, creativity, compassion, leadership, and selflessness—qualities that helped them change their communities for the better.

Their inclusive and sustainable solutions to the most pressing problems of people all over Asia make very inspiring reading. In one book, a young girl learns about Dr. Fe del Mundo’s work as a doctor. In another, a balikbayan experiences the distinct brand of Jesse Robredo’s leadership. Another book shows how the husband-wife team of the Edhis started an ambulance service for the underprivileged and homeless sick in Pakistan. In one other, non-engineer Ho Ming Te spurs whole Taiwanese communities to build their own bridges.

“Gift of Values 1” is a beautiful compilation of nine Great Men and Women of Asia (GMWA) books that detail the life and transformative works of the Magsaysay Awardees. They are great resource materials and ideal as a gift or donation for schools, teachers, and libraries.

“Gift of Values 2” is a set of 16 full-color, illustrated titles from the GMWA children’s series featuring the Magsaysay Awardees. Told in a rich and entertaining voice attractive to children, they are perfect tools for introducing greatness of spirit into the lives of  the young.

The latest addition to these Gifts of Values are the Greatness of Spirit (GOS) mugs, designed with colorful caricatures of Magsaysay laureates and the values of patience, innovation, compassion, leadership, empowerment, and simplicity that they embody. The mugs come in a special gift box when bundled with GMWA children’s books. The GOS mugs are available in sets of one, three or six mugs.
